Once again,
Mello Music Group delivers a gem. CASTLE recently released his
Gasface album, and the project includes this remix of "Opium" by Rhymesayers legend
Blueprint. The Columbus, Ohio rapper/producer flips the track with a dusty, pitched-up soul sample. For those unfamiliar, CASTLE is an emcee/producer based out of North Carolina. After all of these
solid releases from Mello Music Group, I think it's about time we start calling Maybach Music Group the
other MMG. Stream and download Blueprint's "Opium" remix below.
"Another promise to myself to keep my guard up/ Another beat as a canvas to draw some bars up/ Just to remind myself: when something seem too good to be true/ It probably is, and I shouldn't get beside myself/ Besides, shorty's doing well, and that is all that counts/ She and dude living together, she became his spouse/ She don't need me now, so why am I in shorty's house/ With the proverbial shovel ready to dig shorty out?" - CASTLE
