Happy Mother's Day to you and yours. Georgia Anne Muldrow and Dudley Perkins just released "Muthadear", an ode to mothers everywhere. The track finds a place on G&D's upcoming album, The Lighthouse, which is set for release on May 21st (via SomeOthaShip Connect). You can pre-order the album here. What do you get if you combine the neo-soul sound of the Soulquarians with old-school R&B flavour, and then add a touch of reggae and hip-hop? I imagine the end result would be something like this. Stones Throw's Georgia Anne Muldrow and Dudley Perkins have teamed up as G&D for their upcoming album The Lighthouse, releasing their first single "PopStopper". The duo - who also happen to be married - will be releasing the album through their label, SomeOthaShip Connect. If you dig it, you can pre-order their album on Bandcamp (it comes out on May 21st).
