Bronx rapper YC The Cynic dropped a video for "Murphy's Law" earlier this week. This is the third video off his upcoming project GNK. On this track, YC The Cyinc speaks on the evolution of people, our society and how we don't always make the best choices for our survival. About halfway through the song, producer Frank Drake samples a Notorious B.I.G verse and YC switches up his flow and starts rapping a bit faster. This is a unique touch that makes this track really stand out. Be sure to check out GNK when it comes out on August 26. Watch the video below.
Meet YC The Cynic, a rapper from the Bronx who recently used Kickstarter.com to raise over $5000 for his upcoming album GNK. A few days ago he released a music video for the first single "God Complex". The track is produced by Frank Drake who is also responsible for the rest of the album. YC's ability to embody the character is reflected superbly in the lyrics and delivery. The visuals are simple yet strong. YC The Cynic is shown fading in and out like an inkblot in a cloud of vibrant and colorful smoke. They go well with the beat which is spacey with a pleasing mix of piano and drums.
