Holla is a sixteen year old rapper from Chicago who blew my mind with his song, "Psycho". First off, you'd never know he was only sixteen; from his rhymes and wordplay, it sounds like he's been doing this for years. He mentions several great rappers as influence, and right off the bat you can hear how influenced "Psycho" is by A$AP Rocky, Kanye West, and especially Kid Cudi, with the psychedelic, spacey production and the hyper-aware exploration of the darker side of his psyche. Holla also blends the deep, raspy voice of Cudi with the abbrasiveness of West. That being said, Holla creates his very own image, merging hip-hop with crazy beats and even crazier rhymes. "Psycho" is a wicked great track off Holla's mixtape
