I have to give a shout-out to Christel Rochelle from my hometown of Scarborough for this track. "iFeel" is about being stuck in a funk, about feeling hopeless and trapped with nobody who can help or understand. This is Christel's first single, and it's a beautiful blend of R&B, Neo-Soul, pseudo-Pop and Hip-Hop- let's call it alternative Hip-Hop, shall we? The track really draws you in; it's not cluttered with loud instrumentals, production, or distractions, allowing you focus on Christel's amazing voice and lyrics that relate to the experiences of helplessness and loneliness that everyone goes through. "iFeel" is a very ethereal, alienating and at times, dark experience that gives this track that much more meaning, considering the content. I'm loving the surprise ending where the track takes an unexpected turn (but I'll let you listen to it instead of spoiling it for you). Experience it below and tell me what you think.
