From Martin Bauman aka M-Bomb as a Music Blogger. When I joined The Come Up Show, I didn’t care what role I had on the team; I just knew that I wanted to be involved. I knew it would open doors for me, but never could I have imagined how soon those opportunities would start knocking, or how often. Within the first month of my internship, I had opportunities to interview Iron Solomon and David Banner. From then on, the interview opportunities only continued. In the past 8 months alone, I’ve interviewed over 20 artists, including Brother Ali, Phonte, Skyzoo, Fashawn, Soul Khan, Kayo, SonReal, and many others. I’ve developed relationships with artists and their management, and discovered more hip-hop this past year than I have in the rest of my lifetime.
