Flight Plan, a laid-back journey over airy melodies, backed by crisp drums and electronic abstractions. I first heard of J Bizness when I took in Richard Wright's
Open Minded album earlier this year, which J Bizness produced. Throughout
Flight Plan, various Mello Music Group artists share their own personal flight stories, serving as interesting and refreshing interludes to the instrumentals. Richard Wright, the South Central LA native, makes his solo debut on Open Minded. The entire album is produced by fellow SoCal producer J. Bizness, who perfectly crafts the beats to suit Wright's laid-back flow. Notable features include Phonte on "♥" (track 13), and Stik Figa on "Yeah Right" (track 14), both strong tracks.
