K'Naan just dropped the lyric video to "Hurt Me Tomorrow" (The Ballad of Smelly & Petunia), off his upcoming album, Country, God or the Girl, to be released this fall. In what may be the first use of puppets in a rap video since Eminem's "Ass Like That", we get this offering, described as "a lyric video of epic sexual proportions." Check out the visuals below. 
I liked the original version of "Nothing To Lose", but will.i.am's remix makes this song even better. Instead of the original pop chorus, he opts for a golden-era hip-hop feel with a soulful sample. K'Naan is an artist that I fully support regardless of how successful he may be. I think it was a great decision he took a break to work on new music since his megahit Wavin Flag. I think he definitely took every opportunity to promote that song and tons of new fans discovered K'Naan. It could have worked against him if he kept releasing song after song after Wavin Flag that's why it's refreshing when he released this 5 track EP More Beautiful Than Silence.
