What a fun interview we had with A-FOS and KyleKanevil on The Come Up Show. I definitely wouldn’t think the interview would start talking about how good Pizza Hut is and Kyle mentioned how hungry he was. A-FOS tells us about his production, what it’s like working with KyleKanevil and how the project came together. The interview got deep when we started talking about how messed up communication is because of technology and I got Kyle to talk about what was the inspiration of lyrics on songs like Pile My Plate and Too Much On My Mind. It wouldn’t be right if we didn’t end off the show with a live performance with A-Fos and Kyle! In the second hour we kept it Canadian with Marco Polo, Rich Kidd, Miles Jones and much more take in the podcast and let me know what you think.

[Video] KyleKanevil – “Puff Puff Pass” and “Too Much on my Mind”

With tomorrow marking the release of his solo 28 Grams Later EP, KyleKanevil (one half of The Nicest) decided to let loose another visual off the project, this time for "Too Much on my Mind." Previously, he dropped the visuals to "Puff Puff Pass," which you can also check out below. The two tracks offer an interesting duality on - what else with a title like 28 Grams Later? - marijuana and its highs and lows. On "Puff Puff Pass," KyleKanevil is carefree, almost euphoric, over what is definitely my favourite production off the EP, courtesy of the homie A-Fos. On the other hand, on "Too Much on my Mind," KyleKanevil raps about self-doubt and fear of failure over a much more sombre backing. Look out for both of those and more as the EP drops tomorrow.
