In his press release,
Akello Light wrote something about using his lo-fi equipment to communicate with "beings" from other "worlds" and referred to himself as an "odd-non earthlike". The music is full of chill out keys processed with what sounds like an analog plug-in that washes out the overall sound palette, so he makes pretty rad vibe music. But whether or not it can be used to communicate with ET's is beyond any insight or scope I can hope to delve into here. Sounds like Akello is a bit of a space cadet (it looks like he's waiting to be beamed up in this photo, eh?).
