D.O. aka Defy the Odds has been steadily making a name for himself for the past ten years, along the way earning the Guinness World Record for longest freestyle (8 hours and 45 minutes, since broken by Chiddy of Chiddy Bang), influencing thousands of people through his Stay Driven motivational speaking tours, and touring the world, both as a solo act and as one half of
Art of Fresh. I recently caught up with D.O. to talk about his album, growing up in a small town, his encounter with Kid Cudi in LA, and much more.

D.O. aka Defy the Odds is back with the visuals for "Can't Tell Me", in the final Fresh Friday edition before the May 15th release of Heavy In The Game. Produced by Jahronomo Inc and directed by The Come Up Show's own Nicholas Pulver-Andrews, D.O. raps about his definition of success versus others' expectations. Canada represent! Northstarr Entertainment was featured for 3 live appearances at this year's SXSW festival in Austin, Texas. The Kid Famous, Slakah the Beatchild and D.O. all went down and represented hard for Toronto and all of Canada while showcasing their skills.
