Visualize yourself at the Sound Academy last night to see the legend Raekwon performing his classic album Only Built For Cuban Linx in its entirety. Any real Hip-Hop fans would be beyond ecstatic to see this live and if that wasn't enough, The Chef brought out Kardinal Offishall to take it up another notch! Performing classic songs like “Incarcerated Scarfaces” and “Ice Cream” together, I really wish I could have been there. Let me know what you think of Kardinal and Raekwon's performance and if you haven't already got the chance make sure to check out our interview with Kardinal Offishall and Raekwon on The Come Up Show. Footage filmed by: This Is Walder
Our first interview with Raekwon was right before the release of Only Built for Cuban Linx II, this time around we caught up just in time for the brand new album Shaolin vs. Wu-tang. Raekwon discusses the concept of the album, and he also shares the moment when he realized Hip-Hop was his calling.
18 years later, Raekwon also shares the secret to his success of being a relevant artist, while his favourites "couldn't do 18 pieces of chicken". Make SURE to also check out the photo gallery of Raekwon during the listening session.
