[Video] Homeboy Sandman – “Peace & Love” (Dir: Chris Antonelli)
I've been sleeping on Homeboy Sandman for long enough; I figure it's about time that I gave him another listen. "Peace & Love", off his just-released Kool Herc: Fertile Crescent EP, has given me good reason to admit that my first assumptions were off-base. His unorthodox style, which threw me for a loop the first time I heard him, just seems to work here; his distorted vocals mesh perfectly with the grungy, electric guitar sample.
