I've been so anxious on this one it's not even funny! The Freedom Writers (Adam Bomb, Tona, Frankie Payne, THEO3, Progress, Big Sproxx) have just released their album titled Soon. If you want music filled with knowledge, lyrics, and just plain good hip-hop, this is one for you! With all the production work done by Big Sproxx, this 9 track album features appearances by Sese, Mathematik and Via Linez. There isn't one perticular stand out track because every song is fire! and every line is a quotable as well. The Freedom Writers recently gave listeners an inside look into the making of "Better Ones". Watch as Tona and Progress reveal what influenced each of their verses. "Better Ones" marks the first track recorded on the Freedom Writers album, and features a guest verse from Mathematik - who also comes through on the hook. Big Sproxx handles the production, and although they don't make appearances in the video, fellow Freedom Writers Adam Bomb and Frankie Payne also join in on the track. As a part of the yearly Sound Clash Music Festival Harbourfront Centre is hosting a number of free shows and events from July 13th-15th in Toronto.
