Ever listen to
Q Da Kid? If you have there may be a little something you find pleasantly familiar about
Scott King, to make things simpler, they are the same artist. Scott King, formerly known as Q Da Kid, recently changed his Hip-Hop moniker following the passing of his grandmother. Scott felt as though he had grown quite a bit since the creation of his Q Da Kid moniker, and with his grandmother being a primary motivator in his Hip-Hop vision, he wanted to show her his growth and maturity as an artist.
After a few months of steady releases, enter
Incarcerated Scarfaces. Scott King jumps on track originally by
Raekwon, and produced by the one and only
RZA. Scott's vocal style seems to mesh with the street production with an overtone of darkness quite well, and seems to feel right at home on the beat. As for the content, Scott King switches up his topics quite a few times, but ensures to never miss a bar.
If you're feeling what Scott King has to say, check out his new freestyle below, and while you're at it his latest freestyle on Notorious B.I.G.'s "
Who Shot Ya" should not be missed.
