This Thursday, for the first time in the history of Toronto rap shows, there will be an all girl line-up. Headlining is JellyTooFly, who has made a name for herself both among male and female rappers and coming off the recent release of her "Queen" mixtape. She will be ready to bring the energy and own the stage at 11:30pm following her supporting acts Krash, Kandy Kisses, and Keysha Freshh. These talented ladies will be joined by another talent, DJ Mel Boogie, who will be spinning all night. Can I say I'm super excited for this show? The Antiheroes (Sha Prince and Flex) - have two projects out this year, Modern Day Riot and Sha's solo project Latex & Perfume. The Antiheroes have grown to be two of my personal favorite Canadian artists, teaming up with another one of my favorites; T.Y. - a Hamilton based emcee who has been growing his fan base rapidly this past year and next year is looking even better with both T.Y. and The Antiheroes new projects set to release early in the year. As these artists have been building a relationship over the past while, it's only right they join forces and tear up the stage together. This January 16th in Toronto at the Rancho Relaxo, The Antiheroes, T.Y. as well as Elcee, Spesh K & Penny Raider will hit the stage and knowing just how The Antiheroes and T.Y. get down with their live performances, it's going to be a night to remember. No matter the weather I know I'll be trying my best to make it out to this and I highly recommend checking this show out, it's only $10 at the doors.
