Virginia rapper Rome Montana recently released "From Texas To Virginia". He has been influenced by Texas sounds since his Legalize Me tape and has worked with Texas producers quite a bit. Dretti Franks, the producer for his track is also from there so it is only right to create a track like this. The beat is spacey and the song also has slowed down down vocals toward the end as a finishing touch. Stream the track below.
This is probably the smoothest track you'll hear this week. 20 year old Rome Montana comes from Richmond, Virginia, which is clear in his new visual to "Undala". Since a young age, he's been recording, mixing and mastering his music while designing his own artwork. He's also the leader of the movement BUTTRWRLD, which was established in Richmond with a few other artists and close friends. There's just something about summer and smooth tracks that goes hand and hand. Be sure to check out his new project, Destination Landed, produced by Vick Music.
Rome Montana is an up and comer representing Richmond, Virginia and leader of the BUTTRWRLD movement. His fourth project Destination Landed produced entirely by Vick Music is a very well put together mixtape that one can enjoy from start to finish. The lyrics are inspired by his surroundings in his hometown and his daily life. Describing him as impressive maybe an understatement considering he is only 20 years old and has put out such a high quality project. For a couple of tracks he is joined by BUTTRWRLD's Matty Da Kidd and Spook who do not disappoint either. It would be hard to pick a favorite track on this one but "In Control" really stood out for me and it does a good job of concluding the mixtape. Stream and download Destination Landed below.
