All American baseball player turned rapper Mike Stud makes his headlining concert debut June 28th at the Virgin Mobile Mod Club in Toronto. Mike Stud's journey into music has been quite an interesting story. Mike's initial claim to fame started as a baseball player for Duke University where he became an All American pitcher after his freshman season. Unfortunately Mike's athletic career was put on hold due to Tommy John surgery sidelining him indefinitely from baseball. It was during his down time Mike discovered making music as an outlet to express himself freely. Releasing free mixtapes and self composed tracks to his growing fan base Mike Stud continued to grow as an artist eventually solidifying his spot as one of the hottest upcoming musicians on the web. His most recent digital only release Relief soared to No. 1 on the iTunes Hip Hop Charts and No. 2 overall the week of its debut.
