Gearing up for his upcoming release, Remember That Was Us, Tyler Durand gives the fans a speak peek of what to expect with the projects fist single,"Another Day." Durand drops some earnest bars over The Chemist produced instrumental, focusing on his grind and the sacrifices he has made throughout the years. Coming on that conscious tip, lines such as "When your brightest days are still minimum wage/the only time it's looking up is when you bout to get paid" hit home hard, and definitely resonate with all the hip hop heads out there who have a dollar and a dream to their name. Durand and his Mawlife crew are one of the hardest working teams in the game right now. Aside from dropping banging tunes, the Bell city collective are killing all facets of the game- from fashion with the Mawlife clothing line to visual art projects for some of the most renown artists on the Canadian scene. Remember That Was Us is more than just an EP title; it's a statement for Duarand and the rest of his Mawlife crew. MJ said,"Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships;" Mawlife crew is looking to take home some rings this season! Expect some big things from these cats down the road. Be sure to check out, "Another Day," and show some love in the comment section below.
