The 2013 UNITY Festival is getting ready to showcase some of the hottest acts in hip-hop as the 5th annual festival kicks off July 18 – 21 throughout the city of Toronto. UNITY is proud to announce a FREE show headlined by hip-hop legend Talib Kweli at Yonge-Dundas Square on Saturday, July 20 with an opening set by Toronto’s own Rich Kidd, an underground king in his own right. The UNITY Concert will be a collaboration of performances and stories that represent the different artistic elements taught during UNITY's year long after school programs, including breakdancing, beatboxing, mcing, and live performances. It will be a free –all day event with over 50 performances from youth, UNITY artists and major headliners.
