The mother of the late great J Dilla,is releasing
The King of Beats (Ma Dukes Yancey Collector’s Edition Box Set) featuring 40 previously unreleased tracks from Dilla. The box set will also include four 10" vinyl records from Dilla's "Batches" collection, a commemorative booklet containing interviews with peers and music scholars, a limited-edition 3″ floopy disk containing one unreleased J Dilla production and a cassette featuring five unreleased tracks.
The first release off this project is a rough track titled, "Filth." Listening to Dilla's adlibs it sounds like this was a track that didn't make the cut for his 2003 album,
