SESE is back. The St. Catharines emcee coming fresh off of his "The Frieza Saga" EP drops the visual for his track "Vegeta", produced by Ceaza Leon. SESE brings the bars on this one, with his super saiyan flow, and Z-fighter mentality. For those that aren't familiar, Vegeta and Frieza are characters from the well-known anime "Dragon Ball Z" that any 90's baby should find familiar.
SESE (pronounced Say-Zee) has been around for quite some time and has certainly left his mark. Boasting over 50 videos, and 1.5 million views on Youtube, his sound and visual campaign has captivated fans worldwide. Your Rappers Favorite Nightmare holds over 10 mixtapes, and 100k downloads under his belt, proving his tireless work ethic. SESE has worked with King of the Dot, and has performed alongside the likes of Nas, Snoop Dogg, The Game, Mobb Deep, and Jadakiss, among others.
"Vegeta" starts off with with SESE laying his bars down while the production by Ceaza Leon gets the listeners head bopping. Right off the bat you can feel SESE's confidence in his own skills as an emcee. The rhymes seem to come too easy to him, especially considering he never fails to relate his lyrics to the subject manner at hand. The visuals, directed by Frank Douglasss (0therword Films/Nightmare Klub) effectively bridges the gap between SESE and Dragon Ball Z, by making seamless transitions from the artist to the subject manner.
Lord Frieza is not playing around with this track and EP. It's quite refreshing to see an artist relate to the world of anime without it feeling like a gimmick for even one second. If you're feeling Vegeta, make sure to check out SESE's new EP "The Frieza Saga". Keep your eyes on SESE, after all, word on the street Drake is. (Drake just followed him on Instagram).
