"Born Travis Darmel Bennett in 1990, Trav, aka Boss Carrot, was raised in Brooklyn by gangsters and a teenage mother. Like many of the youth who grew up living the hard knock life, Boss Carrot idolized the ghetto fabulous lifestyle of fancy cars, fly clothes, pretty women, and dirty money. However, as he began to learn from the mistakes of his uncles and his father, that fantasy quickly faded away. Boss Carrot had a hard time accepting the male figures in his life and had a rocky relationship with his mother, forcing him to stand on his own two feet at a very young age. Despite this, he was motivated enough to find both legitimate and illegitimate work in order to help him and his family maintain."
