What do you get when you combine Grand Analog, Shad, and J Dilla? Whatever the result, you know it’s gotta be good. Grand Analog’s DJ Ofield gives us the answer to that question with this Dilla-sampling reworking of his group’s “The Great Rhyme Dropper”, off their recently released Modern Thunder album. As you would expect, the end result is pretty dope. Ofield manages to run through not just one, but several Dilla classics as he remixes the Modern Thunder single.
